Scope:
Of all the areas of life where artificial intelligence will have an impact, the biggest might well be education. This is because learning is so important, and because current provision often leaves a lot to be desired.
The objective of the I Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Education is an opportunity for researchers to provide further insight into the problems solved at this stage, advantages and disadvantages of the various approaches used, lessons learned, and meaningful contributions to enhance applications for education. In this sense, the first workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Education (AI4Ed) will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of novel research ideas or actual deployments focused on the development of advanced applications applying to Education.
