About EAIA 2026

The Advanced School on Artificial Intelligence (EAIA 2026) is a premier event dedicated to exploring the latest frontiers of AI. This two-day school brings together leading researchers, students, and industry professionals to discuss cutting-edge developments, foster collaboration, and inspire the next generation of AI innovators.

EAIA 2026 will be structured around 4 main themes:

  • • Natural Language Processing & Human-AI Collaboration
  • • AI for Healthcare & Bio-Medical Informatics

Promoted by APPIA, the Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence, EAIA 2026 continues the tradition of academic excellence and community building. The school will feature a series of tutorials, keynote talks, and networking opportunities, covering a wide range of topics from machine learning theory to real-world AI applications.

Scholarship Grants

EAIA 2026 is offering up to 15 scholarship grants to support the participation of students, researchers and young professionals in this advanced school. Each scholarship includes:

  • €150 support towards the registration fee,
  • Accommodation during the event for participants coming from outside Aveiro.

The scholarship program aims to make high-quality AI education more accessible and to encourage participation from talented candidates with strong academic or professional motivation in AI.

Applications should be submitted to eaia2026@appia.pt until 8 June 2026. Applicants will be notified by 15 June 2026.
