EPIA is a biennial (now turning to annual) conference on Artificial Intelligence promoted by the Portuguese Association For Artificial Intelligence (APPIA). It is one of the oldest conferences on Artificial Intelligence promoted by a national AI association in Europe.

EPIA has been organized since 1985, and features regular Springer LNCS/LNAI proceedings since its 4th edition, back in 1989.
